Livingston-Hughes Surveyors began in 1994 as a mortgage loan inspection firm under the vision of David Hughes. Livingston-Hughes later expanded into a full service surveying company offering standard boundary surveys, and forest management services and more. Initially we served only York and Cumberland Counties.

Today Livingston-Hughes has returned to its roots, as an industry leader specializing in and serving the mortgage loan and real estate industries. Our service area has expanded beyond York and Cumberland counties to include all of Southern Maine, Downeast Maine, the Lakes Region of the state and beyond. Our growing professional staff consists of computer draftspersons, survey technicians, and Professional Land Surveyors. At the forefront of technology Livingston-Hughes Surveyors utilizes state of the art surveying equipment, including electronic total stations, data collectors, levels and magnetic locators. All data collected in the field is downloaded into the latest computer equipment utilizing coordinate geometry and CAD programs. This enables us to create true field-to-finish survey plots and drawings. Our clients benefit in pin point accuracy, reduced cost, and rapid request-to-completion turn around time while receiving unsurpassed customer service.
