Tracy Hughes, General Manager:

Tracy jointed the team after earning a psychology degree and teaching 5^th graders in Sanford for many years. A perfect resume for dealing with an office full of rowdy surveyors! She handles everything necessary to keep the company productive, financially viable and prepared for the future. While most of us grab jobs, field equipment and lunch; then head out in the field (yoo-hoo!) she remains in the office to guide the company forward. Tracy is the keystone of the company making sure our bills are paid, our checks are ready and the company is healthy. A natural mother, she has two teenagers, and is an avid cyclist, adventure racer and soon to be triathlete.  She lives in Kennebunkport. 

 Emily Shook, Operations Manager: Emily started with us as a part-time office person doing filing and typing. She never would have guessed that she would, some day, take over the company!  Emily runs the day-to-day operations end of the company now. If you need to know who is where, what job is due, or how can we get this done, talk to Emily. She has the uncanny ability to answer the phone, give directions to a lost surveyor, and correct a CAD drawing all at the same time. It isn’t easy keeping track of this motley crew, but Emily is up to the challenge. When she goes home to her cats in Kennebunkport, she has time to Feng Shui her apartment and make really cool jewelry.  

David Hughes, RLS/Owner: Dave taught high school science, published a small newspaper, and served a term as an officer in the U. S. Coast Guard before becoming a land surveyor. In 1994, he originated Livingston-Hughes Surveyors with an office in his daughter’s closet and his tools in an old truck.  Today he leads one of the state’s largest and most proficient survey firms.  He is an avid cyclist and mountain biker, an adventure racer and triathlete.  He lives in Kennebunkport with his wife and two children who, now, only keeps clothes in their closets.

Terry Worcester, RLS: Terry is the most experienced surveyor in the company. He has spent many years working in western Maine where he grew up. His attention to detail and thorough knowledge of the industry make him a valuable member of our team. However, Terry missed his true calling as a stand-up comedian. His keen sense of humor keeps us all in stitches.

 Glenn Thornton, LSIT: Glenn joined us in 1995 following an engineering career at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. Glenn performs surveys in all counties that we serve. His knowledge of surveying, together with his expertise in working with municipalities, makes him a great asset to our firm. Glenn is an expert skier, accomplished volleyball player, and a busy father. He lives with his wife and two children in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.

Louis Rocchio: Louis joined us after a surveying career in Colorado. He has extensive experience in this industry and is a very knowledgeable surveyor. Louis will truly go the extra miles to make sure things are done right and on time. He lives with his wife and three children in Lyman, Maine.

Jeanne Muse: Jeanne is a strong surveyor with more experience in the mortgage inspection field than anyone else in the company. Jeanne has seen it all, but continues to be one of our most energetic and enthusiastic surveyors. Jeanne is an accomplished figure skater, artist, and an enthusiastic gardener. She lives with her husband and pets in Albion, Maine.
