Glenn Thornton was raised on a chicken farm in Rumford. His family is “pure Maine” going back for centuries. He got his surveying degree and went to work at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. We hijacked him in 1995 and he has been with us ever since. He often wins our “most valuable player award”. He is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and fun. He is a ski instructor, club volleyball champ, and father of two very accomplished volleyball players; one is a collegiate athlete and the other plays for her high school team. He and his wife live in Scarborough with his daughters and rescue dogs.
